AI Series Day 7 | 12 Days of AI. The 5-Minute AI Brain Dump Female Founders Use to Stop Waking Up Overwhelmed at 3am

Your head is full. Ideas, worries, tasks, random thoughts, all screaming for your attention at the same time.

And here's the thing, you're not going to think your way through 47 competing priorities. You need to get them outta your head and into actual order.

Here's how to brain dump into AI and get back an action plan in five minutes.

Hey, hey, hey. Welcome to She's That founder, the show that helps ambitious women stop drowning in decisions and start owning their CEO seat with a little AI magic.

I'm Dawn Andrews, and this is day seven of the 12 days of ai.A Female Founder's Holiday business intervention series.

Today's topic, your chaos organizer, a brain dump workflow that turns I'm overwhelmed into. Here's my plan in about five minutes.

Okay, my good woman. How many things are swirling in your head right now? I mean, I can tell you mine looks like the 4 0 5 freeway on a Friday afternoon.

You know, you should write all these things down, but organizing them feels exhausting. So they stay in your head, taking up mental space, creating low grade stress, making you feel like you're forgetting something important, or they live in 18 lists, both on and off your computer. I mean, I'm literally sitting next to mine right now.

So can I tell you what one of my clients said last month? She runs a seven figure consultancy, brilliant strategist, and she told me, Dawn, I feel like I'm carrying a mental filing cabinet with me everywhere I go. I can't even enjoy dinner because I'm cataloging tasks in my head or I'm putting notes in my phone, and if that sounds familiar. I got your fix. It's called the Chaos Organizer. It's four steps that will clear your mental filing cabinet in five minutes.

Ready for the steps?

Here we go. Step one, open chatGPT and start typing or talking. Don't organize, don't filter. Don't worry about complete sentences. Just dump your brain out. You can even read in your written to-do list if you've managed to get things outta your head already.

So here's what it might sound like. Need to follow up with Erica about the proposal team meeting tomorrow, but I don't have an agenda. Website homepage. Invoice from last week, not paid.

Thinking about hiring a VA but don't know where to start. Worried about cash flow in Q1. Should probably post on LinkedIn, but no idea what to say. Kids school thing Thursday. Email inbox outta control. I mean, I hope I'm not stressing you out, just reading that list out, but just do two minutes stream of consciousness.

And if you prefer voice, hit the voice button on chat GPT, and just talk to it like you're venting to your best friend. And if two minutes is not enough, I've found that by 10 we all start repeating ourselves.

So. No more than 10 minutes, but get it all out.

Step two, this is where you add the organizing prompt. So copy this prompt.

“Organize this brain dump into one action items. Things I can do this week. Two decisions, things I need to think through or decide. Three, delegate things someone else could handle. Four park things that matter but aren't urgent right now. For the action items, prioritized by what's urgent and what's a quick win?”

Then hit enter. Wait 15 seconds.

Step three, read through your organized list and AI will give you back something like this. Action items follow up with Erica Urgent. Five minutes, create team meeting. Agenda urgent, 10 minutes, send invoice.

Reminder, quick win. Two minutes. Then it'll move on to the decisions. Hiring a VA requires thought and budget Clarity. Q1 Cash flow strategy needs a financial review. Delegate might look like. Website homepage update. Designer can handle social media scheduling. VA can handle and park kids school event.

If it's not on the calendar, add it. Now your brain dump is a workable list, not just a list, assorted list. And look, it's not gonna know all of your priorities, but you can have us build something for you that does just something to think about.

Okay? Step four, pick three things to do today. And this is where we all mess this up. We look at that list and we try to do everything but don't because you can't look at those action items, the ones that are most urgent, and pick three, do those and then the rest can wait. here's why this works. Our brains cannot hold multiple thoughts while also prioritizing them and then actively solving for them.

That's why everything feels urgent when it's swirling around your head at 3:00 AM AI helps you separate the thinking from the organizing you think it organizes, and then you can choose. And the real gift is you stop carrying the mental load of remembering to remember those 47 open loops. You actually get to close your laptop and be present.

Quick recap. Dump everything into AI. No editing. Run the chaos organizer prompt. Get back your sorted list and read through it and pick your top three actions for today.

So here's your day seven action items. The next time your brain feels full. Today, tomorrow, whenever Open AI and do this two minute brain dump. Run the prompt and notice how much lighter you feel when it's in a list. An organized sorted list instead of in your head.
